Napa State Hospital for the insane.
It is in the pretty little town of Napa, about one hour and a half north of San Francisco. 20 miles from vallejo.
with a dock on the Napa river.
It had 2,000 acres.
The old building looked like a castle
it was fit for a king.
It was set up so when a patient looked out a window he could not see another patient
was a very old and self-supporting
It grew it's own food including cattle for meat.
